Delmar High & Middle School Addition and Renovations.
This project is approximately 20,000 square feet of building space which
includes two sperate additions to the school. One is a much needed 7,000
square feet cafeteria addition to allow more room for seating students
during the lunch period, also a 13,000 square feet middle school, 6
classroom addition. This project also includeds a new parking lot
addition and courtyard upgrades. The project has a 16 month duration, and
has a price tag of over 2.8 million dollors. Demolition was started on May
5, 2007, and will contuine with the installation of the foundations, and
storm water management systems. In the coming month, look for the
footings, site work and masonry work to start.

Bargain Bill's
Laurel, Delaware

Construction Management Service, Inc. has been selected for management of the overall renovation of the
“Bargain Bill's - The Shore's Largest Flea Market”. CMSI has been instrumental in the projects design,
site design and overall permit process. This project will consist of one of the largest Gas pumping
facilities on the lower
shore, with the addition of a 3800 sf. Convenience Store, over 6400 sf.
restaurant seating addition, a 3000 sf. upper lounge area, 3200 sf. upper office areaand over 9600
sf. of indoor shopping area.
This project will utilize a pre-engineered metal building by Chief
Industries. In addition, a complete site reconstruction with new paved entrance, paved parking
areas, motorcycle, RV and over 130 new parking accommodations. Stay tuned in the coming months
to see this project develop or simply to drive out some weekend to the corner of Route 9 and 13
and visit The Shore's Largest Flea Market.

After a long spring working on completion of the architectural and civil designs, we were able to start the long process of submission to all the county and state agencies. We finally received all our approvals and started to work on demolition and layout. The metal building has been delivered and we plan to start footing construction by mid July. Looking to the future, we plan to complete the footing and slab by Mid August and start to set the building soon after. Since our last update, we have completed the shell for the 10,000 square feet sales area, installed the 2nd floor for the 5,000 square foot bar area and remodeled the existing restrooms to accommodate more customers. We also installed 10 acres of new parking and started on the new entrances. We have started on the new parking areas on Route 13, completed all the site drainage systems, and installed the building pad for a new 40,000 square foot retail shoppes. We have begun construction on the new 6,000 square foot Convenience Store over the existing restaurant area, with one of the longest gas canopy’s on the eastern shore, well over 200 feet long. Work has begun on all the required mechanical systems including a 45,000 gallon water tank, new septic system and water supplies as well as an entirely new electrical system. Remember, all this work is being done without interruption to Bargain Bill’s weekly business.

Since our last project update several areas of construction are nearing completion. The petroleum equipment, signage, Convenience store enclosures, counters, soda fountains, bathrooms and corporate offices have all been started and are almost ready for business. This phase is due for completion by mid-September 2005 and additional sections are to be renovated also. Over the past year, numerous changes and additions to the "House Sports Bar", a complete renovation of the existing Kitchen, and a new 180' by 80' addition, brought Bargain Bill's of Laurel, Delaware, to full operation. Bargain Bill's is complete with a full service convenience store, gas station, over 60 inside vendors, and 120 outside vendors.
